Travel from Munich to Prague
Traveling from Munich to Prague is relatively easy. There are two trains that leave Munich daily and arrive at their destination in just under 6 hours. All trains depart from “Munchen Hauptbahnof” and release passengers at “Praha Hl.n”. Below, you will find train information for travel between these two cities. They are listed by train name, time of departure and time of arrival.

There is another route that can be taken to reach Prague. The German Regional Express leaves from Munich and travels to Schwandorf. From there, passengers can board a train to Prague.
Tickets for trains from Munich to Prague can be purchased and delivered by mail. Prices are as follows:
1 Second Class Ticket - 59 EUR
1 First Class Ticket - 95 EUR
Tickets for travel from Munich to Prague can be purchased at the station as well. The prices are as follows:
1 Second Class Ticket – 59 EUR
1 First Class Ticket – 95 EUR
Tickets can be reserved at a separate cost of about 4 EUR
These prices reflect the purchase of one-way tickets.
Most stations open at 4 am and close at midnight. This doesn’t apply to local stations.
